Delete The Hbo Max App And Reinstall It
If the HBO Max app fails to update to its latest version even after restarting your TV and updating the TVs firmware, then the last step you can perform is to completely remove the app from your TV library and reinstall it again.
To remove the HBO Max app from your Samsung TV, open Smart Hub by pressing the Home key or Menu key on your TV remote.
Now, using the navigation keys on the remove, select the Apps section from the Smart Hub.
Inside the App screen, select the Settings icon from the top right corner.

Update Your TV Manually Via Usb
If your TV is not connected to the Internet or you prefer to install software/firmware updates locally, you have the option of doing this via USB.
To use this option, you need to first download the update to a PC or Laptop:
Enter the model number of your TV in the Search Support Box. This should take you to the support page for your TV model.
Select Information Page.
Select or scroll downto Manuals and Downloads.

The firmware file you download from the website is a compressed file with the extension .EXE.
Plug a USB flash drive into your PC or Laptop.
