How To Use Hulus Parental Controls
When it comes to limiting the content your kids can watch, Hulu offers the ability to create a profile for them with parental controls. To add a new profile on your desktop, click on your name in the top right corner of your screen and choose Manage Profiles. From there, choose Add Profile and be sure to choose on under Turn on to watch only kid-friendly programming.
Similarly, on your mobile device, select your account in the bottom right side of the screen and click on your name. From there, select New Profile and turn on the kid-friendly programming,
What Devices Support Hulu
While the latest versions of Hulu and Hulu with Live TV are available on most devices, there are a handful of products that still feature the “classic” Hulu app, which means you won’t have access to live TV, select Premium Add-ons, or new features.
These devices include the 3rd Generation Apple TV and select models of LG TVs and Blu-ray players, Samsung TVs and Blu-ray players, Sony TVs and Blu-ray players, VIZIO TVs, and TiVo, Roku, and Roku Stick. The service was announced in May 2016. Launching in Beta on May 3, 2017, originally called Hulu with Live TV then changed to Hulu + Live TV. At launch, it came with 50 channels for users to stream, and included five OTA channels ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and The CW for most markets.
Initially it was priced at $39.99, making it very competitive with YouTube TV at the time, which was $35. In December 2019, Hulu upped the price to $54.99 per month. This was after it continued to add more channels. And it now has 72 channels.

What Shows Are On Hulu
When it comes to their original series, Hulu has definitely made its mark. The Handmaid’s Tale made history as the first streaming service to win a major award at the Primetime Emmys, nabbing Outstanding Drama Series in 2017. The streaming service continues to produce impressive and popular original shows such as The Act, a series chronicling the real-life story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard , which follows six teenage runaways in the Marvel Cinematic Universe who unite against their parents and Castle Rock, a psychological thriller inspired by the stories of Stephen King.
Always adding to their repertoire, the streaming service is debuting the second season of the Elizabeth Banks-produced comedy Shrill, starring Aidy Bryant, and the first season of High Fidelity, starring Zoë Kravitz, early this year.

Regarding parental controls, Hulu gives subscribers the ability to create a Kids Profile, ensuring that viewers using that profile can only search and watch kid-friendly content available in the Kids hub. You can also contact Hulu to adjust the age setting for the entire account, which will block mature content across all profiles connected to the account.

Is Hulu + Live TV Worth It
Hulu + Live TV is perhaps the best value for streaming Live TV. And that is largely due to its vast on-demand library that it has been building up for over a decade. Most of its competitors have only a fraction of the content that Hulu does. So even if you dont opt for the Live TV option, you can get Hulu and have plenty of content to watch, with new episodes landing daily and weekly.
At $54.99 per month, Hulu + Live TV is also far cheaper than some of the other services out there. FuboTV, YouTube TV and AT& T TV NOW are all priced at $64.99 per month now. Sure they have more channels, but not that many more. And they also dont have that vast Hulu library of on-demand content available. That makes Hulu + Live TV a pretty impressive option. And itll continue to add more channels in the coming months. However, fingers crossed that it doesnt see as many price increases as other services have recently.
