The X1 Cloud DVR service lets you save shows and view them on your X1, the Xfinity Stream app, and the Xfinity Stream website. Most packages include 20 hours of DVR storage, but you can upgrade to 150 hours or 300 hours of storage during the checkout process.

If youd like to watch your Xfinity content on another TV, you can pay $7.50 a month for an extra X1 DVRor choose a non-DVR Xfinity TV box for $7.50 a month to use on the additional TV. The non-DVR boxes can set and play recordings, but not store them .

Where are you located? AntennaTV and LAFF are broadcast networks carried by a local TV station. It’s possible they are no longer carrying them. Comcast just passes on what is aired, so has no control over that. Comcast and sites like Wikipedia are not always up to date on changes.

A number of LAFF and Antenna contracts moved Check to see if they have a new number listed in your area.

Imdb TV Is Now Available On Comcast X1 And Flex

Amazons free streaming service, IMDb TV, is now available to Comcast X1 and Flex customers. Xfinity customers using X1 and Flex can access the app by saying IMDb TV into their Xfinity Voice Remote.

With IMDb TV, viewers will get a library of free streamingcontent, along with originals from Amazon Studios including the docuseries LukeBryan: My Dirt Road Diary and scripted drama Leverage:Redemption. The original dramedy Pretty Hard Cases willpremiere on September 10.

Recently, IMDb TV announced a deal to bring a collection ofshows from producer Norman Leer to the service. Some of the iconic titles fromLear include All in the Family, Good Times, Maude, One Day at a Time, 227,Diffrent Strokes, The Jeffersons, Sanford and Sanford & Son.

Why Is The World Channel No Longer Available On Comcast Cable

The World Channel will always be available free on over-the-air channel 13.3.

Comcast is only obligated to carry four WQED signals and declined to carry a fifth so that we could add the WQED PBS Kids Channel to the existing channel lineup. Since Comcast would not air all five channels, we asked them to replace Create with the new Kids Channel and keep World and Showcase in the lineup. We received an overwhelming response from viewers that they valued the Create channel so we responded to their needs by returning it to the Comcast lineup, which necessitated removing the World Channel from the lineup. The Showcase Channel is a critical revenue source for WQED and will also remain on Comcast.

Verizon Fios carries all five WQED channels. Satellite services only carry the WQED main channel.

What Is Comcasts Choice TV

Fred, Choice TV is a version of Comcasts once highly-touted Instant TV plan with a few exceptions. Instant TV still exists, but Comcast will not take new customers for it starting next month. The company is shifting its skinny TV focus to Choice TV.

So what is Choice TV?

Choice TV, which was launched last November, allows you to subscribe to a Comcast video service without getting a set-top. You can watch on the Xfinity Stream app. While you dont need a video set-top, you do need an Xfinity Internet plan, and a modem, of course.

The base price of Choice TV is $30 a month, which gives you all local broadcast channels, PBS, CW, Univision, Telemundo, PEG channels and other channels found locally. .

The package also includes 20-hour DVR storage and High-Definition programming. And unlike other Comcast video plans, there is no add-on fees for the base package, such as a broadcast TV fee which is included in the $30 a month.

If you want to expand your lineup, you can order HBO, Starz and Video on Demand services such as Acorn TV, Lifetime Movie Club and History Vault. And there are three add-on packages:

Amc Networks Expands Streaming Offerings

AMC Networks said Wednesday that it has expanded its streaming video offerings, launching AMC Plus and WE tv Plus, two commercial-free SVOD products initially available to Comcast Xfinity cable and Xfinity Flex broadband subscribers.

AMC Plus will cost $4.99 per month and includes original series from the AMC channel and sister networks like Sundance TV and IFC, ad-free with early premieres on demand, along with streaming services Shudder, Sundance Now, and IFC Films Unlimited. AMC Plus also includes a commercial-free premium linear network available on Xfinitys electronic program guide.

For Xfinity and Xfinity Flex customers, AMC Plus will replace AMC Premiere, the commercial-free, on-demand service AMC Networks launched to Comcast customers in 2017.

AMC Networks is offering the new streaming bundles to other pay TV providers as well — Comcast is just the first of hopefully many to sign on. The programmer said it will continue to support AMC Premiere customers who either subscribe to the service through other distributors, like YouTube TV, or who have signed up for it on their own and authenticate through their current TV provider.

In addition to offering ad-free current seasons of hits like Killing Eve, NOS4A2 and The Walking Dead, AMC Plus will include bonus footage, sneak peeks of future episodes and exclusive behind-the-scenes features.
