Dodgers Games On Apple TV+ And Peacock
Apple TV+ is delivering a weekly Friday night doubleheader during the 2022 MLB season.
The first leg of doubleheader MLB games will be free to anyone with internet access, according to Apple. The company released its schedule of games that begin on April 8.
Apple TV+ works on most major streaming devices including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast with Google TV. Smart TVs from Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, Panasonic and Hisense are also supported.
Peacock is expected to start streaming Sunday morning MLB games on May 8.
Games will be available on the Premium plan. Peacock Premium costs $4.99 per month. There is a free 7-day trial for Peacock Premium.

Last month MLB and Apple reached a rights agreement that called for two Friday night games to be streamed exclusively on Apple TV+ each week, beginning with the 2022 season.
The new Friday Night Baseball offering premiered with a doubleheader featuring the New York Mets taking on the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros facing the Los Angeles Angels.
The Los Angeles Dodgers now make their debut on Apple TV+ this week when they host the Cincinnati Reds on Jackie Robinson Day. After that, the club wont be seen again on the streaming service until June 17 when they play the Cleveland Guardians.
The Friday night games being carried by Apple TV+ are be free from local blackout restrictions. However, fans who want to watch them will eventually need to have an active subscription to the streaming service.
A subscription to Apple TV+ costs $4.99 and includes access to the companys growing library of original TV shows and movies. For a limited time only, Friday Night Baseball games will be available to watch for free in the TV app.
