How To Get Apple TV+ App On Your Samsung TV
The Apple TV app is available on select 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 Samsung smart TVs, Lifestyle TVs, QLED 4K and 8K TVs, and the Premiere projector. Here are the steps to follow if you want to install it and check whether your TV has it.
- Find where the Samsung app store is on your TV. If you search it and it does not appear, then, sadly, your TV is not compatible with it and you will need to either access it via a console or a Fire Stick.
- Select Apple TV app and install it.
- Open it up and choose to start watching.
- The easiest way to sign up is to do it via a web browser, but you can put all your information in here and take advantage of the 7-day free trial.
- If you are signing up through the app, you will be able to start watching once that is done. Alternatively, if you have signed up beforehand, you will see quick sign-in options that will allow you to connect with a numerical code or QR code with an apple device.

Can I Download Shows For Offline Viewing
Yes, with a couple of caveats. Apple appears to place no limits on downloads of the same content across iPhones, iPads, and Macs owned by the same account. For example, we downloaded the same episode of Servant on all three of these devices through the TV app with no trouble.
But thats where the freedom ends. Apple doesnt allow you to download Apple TV+ content on the Apple TV, nor does it allow for it on other streaming devices, smart TVs, or when watching shows on a browser.
Shows you download to your iPhone, iPad, or Mac will be available for 30 days, after which your devices will automatically remove them. You can also manually delete them through the TV app.
Unfortunately, theres no way to change the image quality of the downloads, which can be a pain since some episodes can take up more than 3GB of space.
How To Watch Apple TV On Roku
Getting started with Apple TV on Roku is a piece of cake. First, you’ll need to download the Apple TV app on your Roku device. This is done by pressing the Home button on your Roku remote, selecting ‘Streaming Channels’ from the left menu bar, and typing ‘Apple TV’ on the Search Channels page. Use the arrow keys on your remote to highlight the Apple TV channel, click the OK button on your remote, and then select ‘Add Channel.’
Once the Apple TV app is downloaded, find it on your Roku home screen and open it. From here, you’ll need to sign in to the Apple TV app with your Apple ID:
- Navigate to the ‘Settings’ page at the top right of the Apple TV app.
- Select ‘Accounts.’
- Select ‘Sign In On Mobile Device’ or ‘Sign In On This TV.’
- Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in to your Apple account.
If you don’t have an Apple ID and need to create one, you can do that right from the Apple TV Roku app. Instead of selecting ‘Sign In,’ select ‘Create an Apple ID.’ After scanning the QR code with your smartphone or going to ‘activate.apple.com.’ follow the website instructions to create your Apple ID. Once the sign-up process is finished, the Apple TV Roku app should update and automatically log you in.

How Do I Cancel Apple TV Plus
The simplest way for you to cancel Apple TV Plus, regardless of how you signed up or what device you’re using, is to sign in with your account’s Apple ID at tv.apple.com. Click or tap the small circular account icon in the upper right corner and select Settings. Then scroll down to Subscriptions and, finally, tap the link to Manage. From there, you can choose to cancel your subscription.

It takes only a few simple steps to set up Apple TV Plus on your Roku device. First, press the Home button on the Roku remote. Select Streaming Channels to open the Channel Store, then select Search Channels. Begin typing Apple TV Plus. Once you see Apple TV Plus in the search results, click on it and select Add Channel.
After the app is installed, you can select it on the list of installed channels on your home screen.
The next step is to log into your Apple ID. You can either enter your credentials with the Roku remote or sign in using a mobile device. With this second option, you are given either a QR code to scan with your phones camera or an alphanumeric code to type into activate.apple.com.
