However, theres a solution to this as well. To install a region-restricted app, you need to follow some simple steps.

Step 1: Changing Broadcast Country

At first, you need to go to the Settings option of your TV. Youll find a tab labeled General, and you need to access it. Here, youll find an option named Location.

Here youll find two options. Youll see Broadcast Country and Service Country. This is a special feature of LG, as there arent many TV brands that offer this.

You need to access the Broadcast Country, and from here, youll need to select the country you want to stream for. For example, if you want to stream from the US, you need to select the United States. Youll receive a warning pop-up; simply click yes here. The TV will reboot after this step.

Step 2: Downloading the App

Then you need to access the LG Content Store, browse for the app youre looking for, and download it. If you arent sure how to do that, theres a dedicated section above that will guide you through this process.

Step 3: Switching Back to Home Country

Once the app is downloaded and installed, you need to access the Broadcast Country setting once again and switch it back to your home country. The TV will reboot again.

Using Lg Content Store

Access WebOS on your LG smart TV, and connect the TV to an internet connection. You can open the LG Content Store, where you find plenty of movies, shows, and apps.

1)How to add the apps you want, first steps:

• Access pre-installed apps that could have already been installed by clicking on the TV.

How To Connect The Lg Smart TV To The Internet

If you want to download applications to your LG Smart TV, the first thing you need to do is make sure your television has been previously connected to the Internet. To do so, immediately turn on your Smart TV by pressing the power button you can see on the remote control: this has the symbol of a switch and is red.

Once you have turned on the television press the Home key, the one with the symbol of a house, in order to access the main menu of the Smart TV. At this point, you can display the main menu on the screen and you will have to click on the icon with the gear symbol, which will be located at the top right.

A side drop-down menu will then appear on the screen; then identify the words All settings located next to the symbol of the three dots. Then click on it via the central button on your remote control to access the Smart TV settings menu.

Now, you have to make sure that the television is correctly connected to the Internet in Wi-Fi mode or via an Ethernet cable. To check this, scroll through the settings menu items until you find the word Network: then click on it to view this menu in depth.

If not, choose how you want to connect the Smart TV and follow the steps that I indicate in the following lines to connect the Smart TV to the Internet via Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi connection.

Once connected to the Internet you will see a note in the settings of your Smart TV that will confirm the successful access to the Internet.

Add Apps To A Smart TV With Built

Although Vizio incorporates Chromecast within its SmartCast platform, other TVs have Chromecast built in as their core streaming apps platform. These sets include select models from Sharp, Sony, Toshiba, Philips, Polaroid, Skyworth, and Soniq.

The steps for using an app that isn’t preloaded on a Chromecast TV are similar to those for Vizio SmartCast TVs.

Make sure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the TV.
