Prepare Your TV For Screen Mirroring
Before you can mirror your Galaxy phones screen, you need to prepare your TV. Different TV types require different preparation methods.
Set up a Samsung Smart TV for Screen MirroringA compatible Samsung Smart TV is designed to work fluidly with a Galaxy phones Screen Mirroring feature. You can check your smart TVs user manual to see if it supports screen mirroring.
To set up screen mirroring on your Smart TV, press the Input button, and choose Screen Mirroring on the display of your TV.
Set up an HDTV for Screen MirroringAn HDTV is not not normally set up for screen mirroring out of the box. You will need an AllShare Cast Wireless Hub as a bridge to connect your HDTV to your phone. Follow the steps below to connect your HDTV to an AllShare Cast Hub.
1.Power up your AllShare Cast Wireless Hub by connecting the device to a power source. Wait for the status indicator on the top part of the device to turn red.
2.Connect your AllShare Cast Wireless Hub and your HDTV using an HDMI cable.
3.Change the input source of your TV so that it matches that of the HDMI cable.
4.Wait for the AllShare Hub to detect your TV. It will blink red when the TV has been detected.
5.When the AllShare Cast Wirelss Hub blinks red, press the Reset button.
6.The status indicator will now turn blue. This is an indication that the HDTV is now ready for screen mirroring.
Why Is My Screen Mirroring Lagging
« Screen mirroring » is different than « screen casting ».. the reason is because when you screen mirror, you are cloning the screen of your phone to the TV.. and it has to wirelessly transmit the data from the phone to the TV so there is a delay, its broadcasting the screen wirelessly in real time.
Follow This Procedure To Add Your Devices:
Press the button on the remote control to access the home menu.
Use the to select and press the button.
A message appears, prompting you to add a new device.
Select and press the button.
Use the cursor or to select the device you wish to add and press the button.
Use the cursor or to select the TV connector you have used to connect the device and press the button. NOTE: If a particular connector has already been assigned to another device, it will not show up in the list of connectors.
When the guide is completed, select and press the button.
A new device icon is added to the Home menu.
Repeat step 2 and 8 if you wish to add more devices.
Press the button to exit the menu.
NOTE: You will not be able to change the TV connector of a previously added device. If you wish to change the TV connector of a previously added device, you will have to delete this device and re-add it with the desired connector.

How To Cast A Windows 10 Desktop To A Smart TV
1. Depending on the type of TV remote you have, press the Home or Input button.
2. Using the remote, select Screen mirroring or Project depending on which kind of casting you wish to do. You may need to select Apps first, depending on your TV model.
3. On your computer, go to the settings menu, and select Devices.
4. Underneath Bluetooth & other devices, click on Add Bluetooth or other device.
4. Click Wireless display or dock.
5. In the menu that appears, click on your smart TV to begin casting.
