Pluto TV Is Adding Support For Live Local Channels
Pluto TV is one of the most popular free streaming apps on many popular devices such as Rokus and Fire TVs. A wide range of content curated into a single interface has made it a favorite app for many cord cutters.
Now Pluto TV is testing out adding local channels from your antenna right into the Pluto TV interface. If you own a Roku TV and have connected an antenna to it you will be able to view your local channels right inside the Pluto TV interface.
We couldnt find a lot of details about this new feature so we reached out to Ilya Pozin a staff member at Pluto TV. Here is what we learned.
During this beta testing Pluto TV only shows up to 15 channels inside the Pluto TV guide. It said that was just for the early test and Pluto will continue to improve support as it gets feedback from the community.
Pluto is pulling the data from the Roku TV so you must have your antenna set up with your Roku TV. This is also just an early beta test. Currently it does not support other devices, such as Android TV, but said depending on how the community reacts to this test it may consider adding support to other devices and expanding the support for live TV.

Pluto TV doesn’t provide specific guidelines about internet speed for its service. In its help section, the company says, “Having a fast connection is certainly important, but having a ‘stable’ connection can be just as important, so that super fast WiFi connection drops out for a 1/2 second and that will cause playback issues.”

Metv Is Offering Free On
Looking for a way to watch a ton of classic shows 100% free? Right now you can watch older classics like Rifleman, The Lucy Show, The Donna Reed Show, Wanted: Dead or Alive, Peter Gunn, The Doris Day Show, Mr. Lucky and more 100% free on MeTVs website.
The streaming on MeTVs website is powered by Hulu, but you wont find a ton of Hulu branding for most shows except a powered by Hulu logo on the bottom of the page.
Update: Hulu and MeTV have ended their partnership but MeTV is still streaming shows for free on their website just no longer with the help of Hulu.

Pluto TV’s channels are divided into sections such as Featured, Entertainment, Movies, Sports, Comedy, Kids, Latino and Tech + Geek.
There are versions of top cable networks like MTV but generally, Pluto TV channels aren’t the ones you’d find in a standard cable or satellite package.
The News channels are names that you know CNN, NBC News, CBS News, etc. but mostly, they play curated, pre-recorded clips instead of a live stream of the network.
Similarly, the Sports channels are ones you’ve heard of, like Fox Sports, NFL Channel, PGA Tour and Major League Soccer. However, you can’t really watch live sports on Pluto those channels play past games, highlights or analysis.
Pluto’s TV shows are mostly older sitcoms and reality shows that are generally found on other free streaming services, like Hell’s Kitchen, Roseanne and The First 48.
Recently, Pluto added a huge new addition: Pluto TV 007. Their local channel listings used to be non-existent, but thanks to pressure from users and the competition, the service is upping its game. It now offers a range of local TV channels as well as national ones within their packages. It is still sports-centric but has a broader product list now.
fuboTV costs $64.99 per month for the Starter package, $69.99 per month for fubo Pro, or $79.99 per month for the fubo Elite bundle. Depending on the package you choose, you get over 154 channels and 130 events in 4K quality, ten streams at home, and of course, Fire TV support. MeTV is a sub-channel, and hence it shall not be broadcasted as a national channel.
So to answer the question, I would have to say no but also yes.
Since DIRECTV has stopped adding the sub-channels to their list, MeTV isnt among the main channels available.
However, it is also possible to access MeTV via several other methods on DIRECTV.
MeTV is broadcast on DIRECTV as the OTA platforms do and only if the local station has the network on Channel -1.
This means that unless your local TV station regards it as a must-have channel, your DIRECTV cannot guarantee access to its contents.

Use At& t TV To Get Your Local Channels On Your Firestick
DIRECTV STREAM, formerly known as AT& T TV, AT& T TV Now, and DirecTV Now, is similar to Hulu in that it offers a vast selection of national and local channels. Again, what you get depends on your zip code, but your choices usually include local TV networks and national ones, plus plenty of sports and movies.
DIRECTV STREAM is priced similarly, with its lowest package costing $69.99 per month for 65+ channels. There is also a Choice option with 90+ channels for $84.99 and the Ultimate Package with 103+ channels that costs $94.99 per month.
