In that section, you might see a few apps you didnt purchase on your Apple TV. Youll know you bought them somewhere else because theyll have the cloud install icon on the details screen.

Reset The Apple TV App And Apple TV+ App
Before you sell or give away your device or uninstall the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app, you should reset the Apple TV app and Apple TV+ app. Resetting the Apple TV app and Apple TV+ app signs you out of your account, removes your personal information, and restores the apps to their original settings.
If you reset the Apple TV app and Apple TV+ app on a smart TV that’s also signed in to the Apple Music app, then the Apple Music app will also be restored to its original settings.

How Can I Get The Apple TV+ App On My Television And Devices
You watch Apple TV+ via the Apple TV app which means you can watch it on a range of Apple devices but also on compatible TVs and streaming sticks.
If you have an iPhone, iPad or Mac or Apple TV box youll have the Apple TV app pre-loaded.

Installing apps on the 4th or 5th gen. Apple TV is similar to and just as easy as, installing them on an iPhone or iPad. The operating system that runs on the Apple TV, called tvOS, is slightly different from iOS, so the steps for installing apps on it are slightly different, too.
Just like on the iPhone and iPad, you can redownload apps on Apple TV, too. Go to the App Store app on your Apple TV, select the Purchased menu, and then select Not on This Apple TV for a list of apps available for redownload.

Rearranging And Deleting Apps
As with iOS, you can customize the arrangement of your apps on the main screen of the Apple TV. To move an app, move the cursor to the app you want to move, and click and hold on the remote trackpad until the app icon starts jiggling. At that point, you can swipe on the trackpad to move the app to its new location on the screen, and the other icons will adjust to make room for it. When you’re done, click on the trackpad to exit the rearrange mode.
If you want to delete an app from your Apple TV, follow the same procedure to highlight the app and enter the rearrange mode. From there, press the play/pause button on your remote and it will bring up a confirmation screen to make sure you want to delete the app and all of its data.

One of the best parts of having a smart TV is getting access to all of its available apps . You can download your favorite video streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, or Vudu. You also have access to music streaming apps like Spotify and Pandora. And just so you know, access to new apps will be occasionally added to your smart TV through software updates.
From the TV’s Home screen, navigate to and select Apps and then select the Search icon in the top-right corner.
Enter the app you want to download, select it, and then select Install. Once you’ve downloaded the apps you want, it’s time to enjoy them.
Press the Home button to open up the TV’s Home screen menu. If the app is listed on the Home menu, use the remote’s directional pad to navigate to it and open it.
If the app isn’t listed on the Home menu, use the directional pad to select Apps, and then select the app you want.
Note: You can add an app to the TV’s Home screen by going to Apps, selecting the Settings icon in the upper right corner, highlighting your desired app, and then selecting Add to Home.
