Good App Not A Great Company
On around February 27th 2020 I decided to switch from SlingTV to FuboTV. I went with the Latino package so I could watch La Liga and EUFA Champions League for which I had to pay 3 months in advance . Around 2 weeks into my membership coronavirus started spreading fast and matches were postponed with no further notice, I only got to watch 2 games. Now Obviously this is not FuboTVs fault and I wouldnt expect or ask for a refund. I called Customer service and all I asked was for my prepaid time to be put on hold until matches started again but they said they couldnt do that, they told me that there was other stuff I could watch after I had already said that I only got my membership to watch soccer games. I asked if I could at least get an extra month for free, they said no. I told them I didnt want to cancel and that I understood that I was going to have a loss because we we all impacted by the virus in some way or another, all I wanted was for them to take some of the loss not just me the customer. After talking on the phone with a representative for maybe 10min i knew that we werent going anywhere so I emailed corporate. They responded saying the same thing, that there was nothing they could do, I replied and they never replied again. I think I was being pretty reasonable, I wasnt asking for much just a portion of what I paid for. Those 2 games cost me 60$. I cancelled my account.
Oklahoma’s Playoff Hopes In Trouble
It probably goes without saying, but Oklahoma is in real danger of missing the College Football Playoff. The Sooners are ranked No. 13 in the latest committee rankings, and it’s a steep uphill climb to jump nine spots in just three weeks. And as it was stated on the broadcast, no team ranked lower than No. 9 at this point has ever made the final four-team field. But the Sooners will have a chance to impress the committee, starting with this weekend’s game at Iowa State. Oklahoma then plays at No. 9 Oklahoma State, then would have a chance to play either the Cowboys or Baylor again in the Big 12 championship game. It won’t be easy, but if the Sooners win out and get some help in the form of chaos ahead of them, they’re not totally out of it yet.

The Colts are playing host to the Jets on “Thursday Night Football” in Week 9. Indianapolis is coming off a 34-31 overtime loss to the Titans during which they blew a 14-point lead early in the game. The team will hope to bounce back against the Jets.
The Jets, meanwhile, are coming off a big upset win over the Bengals. Mike White won his first NFL start and earned the Jets 34 points in style. They beat the Bengals, who were favored by double-digits in that game, 34-31, the same score as the Titans-Colts game.
Indianapolis will certainly be favored in this spot over the 2-5 Jets. That said, they’ll need a better performance out of Carson Wentz in this one. Wentz threw two awful interceptions late in the Colts’ loss to the Titans and completed just 52.9 percent of his passes. If he can’t throw more accurately, the Jets will have a chance to hang around.
New York will hope that White can continue to play well, and they will look for Jamison Crowder and rookie Michael Carter to be involved as the offense’s top weapons. Carter may not get much going on the ground against a Colts team that just slowed down Derrick Henry, but he can still serve as a weapon during the game.

And Ive tried them all.I chose DTVNow when I cut the cord. What I didnt count on was that the app was constantly glitchy, their prices went up, they changed their packages, and didnt offer a lot of the channels I like. I was willing to stick with them in the name of cord cutting, but then I came across Fubo more or less by accident. I dont care about sports channels so Fubo never seemed like an option for me. But when I tried them out for a week with their free trial offer I was pleasantly surprised. Fubo is a much more stable platform than DTVNow and Im really impressed with the channels they offer – especially since they only charge $4/month more than DTVNow for a bigger selection. Thats $4 well spent imo.My two suggestions to make the Fubo experience on Roku perfect is to add a last channel feature so that you can quickly flip back and forth between two channels. Also, Im not super impressed with how the networks are laid out on the home screen or in the guide. It seems a very random order, even after you pick your favorites. It would be much better to have the networks alphabetized so that theyre easier to find.

Houston entering the rankings at No. 24 is good news for Cincinnati. The two don’t meet in the regular season, but the Cougars have already clinched a spot in the AAC championship game, and the Bearcats can as well with a win on Saturday against a good SMU squad.
