So, this is what I received when I purchased the Logitech Harmony Smart Control . After a pretty significant amount of reading and watching YouTube videos, my conclusion is that this is the best universal remote at a reasonable price that works with Firestick.
It comes with the remote, remote battery, the harmony remote hub which it uses to communicate with your WiFi devices, USB cable , IR mini blaster , AC wall adapter and the owners manual.
Setup was pretty easy. You have to start by installing the Harmony app and it will walk you through most of the steps. I was up and running with my TV, Fios, DVD player and Firestick in about 15 minutes from start to finish.
Its pretty convenient because I can assign certain buttons to a group of commands. For instance with one click I can turn on the TV, switch the input to HDMI 2 and turn on the cable box.
