When Do New Episodes And Movies Hit Apple TV Plus
New episodes and films become available to stream on Apple TV Plus at midnight ET at the very start of the day they’re scheduled to come out. That means new titles are actually available at 9 p.m. PT the night before their published release date.
So, for example, the premiere of The Morning Show’s second season became available to stream at midnight ET Friday, which was 9 p.m. PT Thursday.
The vast majority of Apple TV Plus titles are released like this, at midnight Fridays ET / 9 p.m. Thursdays PT, so the latest episodes of See, Ted Lasso and almost everything else are first available to stream then too. There are some exceptions — The Problem With John Stewart will premiere at midnight ET on a Thursday , for example.

Apple also struck an exclusive deal with Alfonso Cuarón for the famed director’s first television projects.
Since Apple TV Plus resides in Apple’s TV app, you can check out the selection there before signing up. You can also browse the catalog through third-party services like Reelgood.
Apple’s press site also rounds up all Apple TV Plus original titles, including some that have been announced but aren’t released yet.
Apple planned to give theater runs to some of its films before streaming them on Apple TV Plus, but the coronavirus pandemic has stifled those plans for the time being.

When Apple launched Apple TV+ there were only a few shows including The Morning Show, See, and For All Mankind, but in the months that have followed more and more shows were added such as Mythic Quest, Ted Lasso and Trying .

However, when you consider the huge catalogues of content being offered by the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney and so on, you can understand why people feel like they aren’t really getting much for their money from Apple .
If You Could Only Pick One Which Streaming Service Would You Choose
Apple has always kept user numbers close to the chest, so its difficult to tell just how successful Apple TV Plus has been with everyday users. Complicating matters further, most current Apple TV Plus subscribers are still on their free year. This means that subscriber numbers could tank when the first wave of free trials expires.

Apple TV Plus is a subscription streaming service to watch the company’s original series and movies exclusively. Like Netflix, it doesn’t have ads.
Unlike Netflix, it doesn’t have a big library of licensed shows or movies, nor will it release full seasons of its shows all at once in a binge-able bunch . Most Apple TV Plus series premiere a small cluster of episodes, often three, followed by one new episode every week. Full seasons of some series drop all at the same time, though.
Apple TV Plus is available in more than 100 countries and is also part of Apple’s family-sharing feature, which allows you to add up to five family members to share a plan. Apple originals are available in 4K, HDR and Dolby Vision, and most titles also offer Dolby Atmos sound, according to this Apple support page.
Can You Add Disney Plus Or Hbo Max As An Apple TV Channel
Services like HBO Max, Hulu, Disney Plus, Peacock, and Prime Video are not available directly as Apple TV channels. Instead, you have to sign up for these services separately and watch them through their own apps.
That said, you can still integrate recommendations from these platforms into the Apple TV app. Billing is not available through Apple so you must already have a separate subscription to one of these services. You’ll then see an option to link the services you’re subscribed to with the Apple TV app.
This will enable you to see recommendations for movies and shows from that platform inside the Apple TV app. But if you click on a program you’ll be redirected to stream it on the required third-party app.
For instance, if you connect your separate HBO Max subscription to the Apple TV app, you’ll see recommendations for HBO Max shows within the Apple TV interface. But if you click on the show, your device will be prompted to launch the HBO Max app.

Apple TV Plus Is Also Different From Apple TV Channels
Apple TV Channels is a feature of the Apple TV app that lets you subscribe to streaming services through the Apple TV app. Services available via Channels include things like HBO, Showtime, and Paramount+. You can subscribe to Channels through the Apple TV app using your Apple ID. You can use Channels without subscribing to Apple TV+, or in addition to it.
What Devices Does Apple TV Support
Apple TV Plus is available in the Apple TV app on all Apple devices. Its not quite as accessible as other streaming platforms, but odds are you have several devices in your house that can access Apple TV.
For Apple devices, any iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch with the latest software update can access Apple TV Plus directly through the app, which should be pre-installed. Apple TV set-top boxes that are third-gen or newer are also compatible.

How Do I Cancel Apple TV Plus
The simplest way for you to cancel Apple TV Plus, regardless of how you signed up or what device you’re using, is to sign in with your account’s Apple ID at tv.apple.com. Click or tap the small circular account icon in the upper right corner and select Settings. Then scroll down to Subscriptions and, finally, tap the link to Manage. From there, you can choose to cancel your subscription.
Apple TV Plus Is Different From The Apple TV App
This is a bit confusing since they have very similar names, but Apple TV+ is not the same thing as the Apple TV app. The Apple TV+ service can be used from within the Apple TV app, but the app provides many other features and options.
The Apple TV app is a place to watch content from many different services that you subscribe to. For instance, if you subscribe to Netflix, Hulu, and Showtime, the Apple TV app shows the latest episodes of your favorite shows from all of those services, plus recommendations for other things you may enjoy. It also offers content from the iTunes Store and lets you buy and rent movies and TV shows there. You can use the Apple TV app without subscribing to Apple TV+.
Apple TV+, on the other hand, is one source of content that can be accessed from within the Apple TV app.
